When I was little, my mom would make my brothers and I treasure maps taking us all around our house and the gardens to find treasures (lunch).  I had a fun sense of adventure and connection to a story following the picture clues on her map from place to place.  I have liked maps ever since, and so, I also make abstractions inspired by maps—of Texas cities, as well as, other places.  If you would like your own, one-of-a-kind, abstract map...please see my Shop or Commissions pages.
